Garantio: EU Guarantee Notice, privacy policy

Garantio: EU Guarantee Notice ("the app") is operated by TRANSYLVANIA MARKETING LTD SRL, Romania. This policy explains what the app stores when a merchant installs it on a Shopify store.

What we store

• The shop's myshopify domain.
• Shopify access tokens, used to call the Shopify Admin API on the merchant's behalf.
• App settings (the exclusion tag) and whether the subscription is active.
• Storefront check results: date, whether the notice and GARAN label were found, and the reason when they were not.

GARAN label values (years, brand, model) are saved as product metafields inside the merchant's Shopify store, not on our servers.

What we do not store

The app does not collect or store any data about the store's customers or visitors. The storefront blocks set no cookies and send no tracking requests.

How we use it

Only to run the app: show the notice and labels, write GARAN metafields when the merchant asks, and check once a day that the notice appears on the live store. We do not sell or share this data, and we do not use it for marketing.

Where it is stored

On Cloudflare (Workers and D1), which hosts the app. Shopify processes billing through its own systems.

Retention and deletion

When the app is uninstalled, access tokens are deleted at once. When Shopify sends the shop/redact request (48 hours after uninstall), all remaining data for that shop is deleted.
